Meet The Maker
Let me introduce myself! I'm known on the internet by my handle, n0vellette. My real name is Ashe. I was born and raised right here in Canada. Ever since I was young I've had a creative side, whether it be drawing, crochet, or sewing. I love animals, especially cats, and have always had a deep interest in dragons.

When I was very young, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes, formerly known as juvenile diabetes. This disease has shaped a large part of who I am; having T1D has taught me how to keep being strong, even when I'm tired, even when I want to give up.
That strength helped me advocate for myself when I became an adult to finally get my autism diagnosis, letting me access the help I needed.

The furry community helped me express my true self through my disabilities. I want to give back through my art, by making lovable suits with options for those like me - people who wear or use medical devices, people who need a little extra accommodation, and people who love to express themselves in all their uniqueness.

Do you have social media?
I offer no social platforms for Chirping Cat Creations. Just this site and my Etsy!

Why "Chirping Cat?"
The name "Chirping Cat Creations" comes from the youngest of my three cats, Leon! Little Leon doesn't like to meow. Instead, when he's happy or excited, he makes little "chirps." Leon has two siblings, a sister named Lola, and a brother named Phantom.
